Now that it’s finally Spring and we can get back outside…come help us clean up one of our favorite areas!

As part of the Great PA Clean Up, join GLENDA and Nine Mile Run Watershed Association as we sweep Nine Mile Run clean of litter. Every rain and snow melt brings depressing amounts of litter into the stream from storm sewers. The Nine Mile Run stream is a unique and major amenity for our city--let's keep it tidy!

9:30am to Noon
Meet in the Soccer field in Lower Frick Park off the Lancaster Avenue entrance

GLENDA has been a steady partner with this project for years and we are happy to return once again to help clean up.  There are always several other groups present, so it’s a great chance for us to work alongside others to show them what awesome volunteers we have.

NMRWA will provide all of the supplies including gloves, trash bags, and safety vests. Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes.

If you are interested in volunteering, please reply to this message with either a YES or MAYBE by Sunday, April 7.

See you there!
