It’s the 20th anniversary of Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art! Over the last 20 years, this event, which benefits the PERSAD Center, has grown from a small auction hosting a couple hundred people to a major event of over 1,500.
This year GLENDA has been asked to provide volunteers for the event, which will be held Monday, May 12 at the Carnegie Museum of Art. The volunteers would be needed around 6:00 PM for most duties, but there may be a later shift as well.
Volunteers can serve in a variety of different tasks that will be decided closer to the event. Anyone interested in volunteering is welcome (but not required) to attend a volunteer meeting on May 4 at the City Theatre on the South Side.
If you are interested in volunteering in some capacity on May 12, please respond with a YES or MAYBE by Friday, May 2.
