Hello all!
Are you ready for some holiday weekend fun? Well, join us for a two-part GLENDA social event on Saturday, May 24th. Come to one, or come to both!
PART ONE - Back by popular demand!
We will be hopping on board a “Just Ducky” land/water-cruiser for a fun-filled historic tour of the ‘Burgh like you’ve never experienced (unless you came last time). Quacking IS required!!!
The tour goes from 4:30 to 5:30 and prices are $19 (adults) or $18 (students & seniors with ID). Please arrive at 4:00. To reserve your spot, you will need to call Just Ducky Tours at 412-402-DUCK. This is imperative! Please request seating with the GLENDA group. Just Ducky will require you to give a credit card (to hold only), and payment is made when you arrive (cash or card). If you plan to attend this segment, please make your reservation, and then email Louise Ketchum (LAKCHEF@aol.com) by the end of Wednesday, May 21st so that we know how many folks will be in the group. Seating is limited so quack fast!
PART TWO
Dinner at casually cool Bar Louie, Station Square.
Get off of the boat or out of your car and waddle in for oversized sandwiches, extensive selection of small and large plates, specialty cocktails, microbrews and a nice variety of wines. The warm, contemporary surroundings will provide a relaxing backdrop for good conversation and continued camaraderie.
