Have you wanted to help volunteer with the Food Bank, but the Repack was full? Have you wished you you could work with the people the Food Bank serves? Produce to People is the perfect opportunity for you!
GLENDA is looking for 10 volunteers to help the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and thier successful Produce to People program. We will be unloading trucks, setting up tables, carrying food to people's cars and clean-up.
Produce to People is a distribution programthat provides food directly to the Food Bank's clients.
We will be volunteering on Saturday June 28, 2008 at the Market House in the historic South Side from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The Market House is located on 12th St.(off Carson).
