Divas for Diversity

GLENDA is proud to introduce another stellar performer at Divas for Diversity, Tania Grubbs!

Tania has been singing for over 30 years in many different venues and genres. She is a graduate of Youngstown State University. After graduation Tania relocated to South Florida where she sang in jazz clubs and performed in numerous theater productions and concert settings.

Tania was a featured vocalist with the Florida Philharmonic and was a “voice” of Boca Raton Pops Orchestra for 3 years.

In 1996, Tania relocated to Pittsburgh. Locally she performs in many artistic capacities. She is a four-time recipient of the Ready for Life Grants, founded by the Heinz Foundation, working with young children through music and movement. She has also been a featured vocalist with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the Civic Light Opera. Today you will most likely hear Tania singing and fronting her own jazz quartet, The Tania Grubbs Quartet, featuring her husband Pittsburgh Symphony Bassist Jeffrey Grubbs.

GLENDA would like to thank Tania for giving her time and talent to our organization!

We are looking forward to a fabulous night!
